Coming Soon - Zen Garden!

Its me Buddy. I been looking into putting one of those zen gardens in at my place. I just love the things, plus they seem so peaceful in all the pictures. I do believe the gravel ones would the best as far as your upkeep goes but the ones with moss and grass and mossy areas look real nice too. I bet I could think up a new Japanese poem every day if I was sitting in one of those type of gardens. I already got an area where I could put something like that but I'm still in the design phase and I also need to figure out a way to keep Terry from going to the bathroom out in the zen garden.

Small-Town Politics Ruin Weekend

Ok, the dance contest on Friday was a joke. It was sponsored by some local dance academy and an excuse to give their own students these meaningless, trumped-up awards. Especially this guy, Brian Wiggin. He thinks he's God's dancing 9 year-old gift to the world or something. Sure, he's nimble, but nowhere near ready for the big time. I literally danced circles around this little punk, but did I get an award? No. Instead, I am told not to be "on stage" while the others are performing. A ridiculous contest put on by small-timers who could never recognize real talent.

I Thought of Something to Write Up on Here

It's me Buddy. One thing I like to write down is my poetry. I like those Japanese poems because they are real short but they can be real deep, ya know? I was planning to dig through my spare room and find some of my old poems but I hadn't got around to that just yet. So here is a couple of them that I can remember by heart:

Matchbox Cars

Matchbox cars are great
Some folks like to collect them
especially me
------------

Old Truck

Old truck you are green
your motor runs just like new
But your paint looks bad
------------

Terry

Terry is my friend
I have known him four years
He lives in my house

Blues Danse Performance This Friday

Moving in with Buddy (and Terry) has been great, but they live in a very small town and that is taking some getting used to. For instance, it is not always easy to find computers with internet access to write this. And I am having a difficult time finding students to get my Danse Studio going again. I did see a flier in the window of the Royal Buffet for a dance competition tomorrow night so I plan to enter that. It will be a chance to show this town what Blues Danse is all about and maybe pick up a student or two.

How Are You?

They call me Buddy because thats a real friendly name and thats why my folks give me that name when I was first born. My half-step brother PW is a real nice guy who ran into a streak of bad luck but me and Terry are happy to have the company of him living with us. Im not a big writer but I like the idea of seeing my words up on the web I tell you what. I just ran out of things to say for now so I wont write any more until I think up something to write about.

Back in the Saddle

I am still not ready to discuss the hell that I have been through. I am just trying to piece my life back together and counting my blessings. You can always replace "things" (except for my Blues Danse 8-tracks - which is killing me) but family matters the most. That is why I am so glad that I have reunited with my half-step brother Buddy (and Terry). I just want to thank Buddy (and Terry) publicly right now for everything that they have done to help me in my time of need. These are the two greatest guys you could meet - let-alone be sort of related to. Buddy does not have a computer and I lost mine (along with everything else) so I am publishing from different places that have computers available. It feels a little strange using different machines all of the time but I am not complaining. We weren't allowed any internet access where I was living for the last few months. Buddy is really amazed at all of the great things I am showing him on the internet. Every time I do a search on dance, I get all kinds of hits on tap dance and still practically nothing on Blues Danse. That's the price I pay for being artistically ahead of my time. I was telling Buddy that he could start his own blog but he said he is not ready for that. Maybe he can start out by being a guest writer on this blog.

Two Things I Have Learned in the Past Year

Firstly, you really can not trust some women and second, there are security cameras ... like ... everywhere these days. And that's all I am going to say about that. The good news is that I am free. I am with relatives and I am going to get my stuff back.
